Shares rose after the company reported good set of numbers. The company's profit rose to Rs 72.83 crore compared to Rs 16.8 crore ilast year.

Stock ended the day at Rs 4925, higher by 1.43 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 5198 during the trade.

Bharti Infratel

Shares of Bharti Infratel rose after Compassvale Investments Pte Ltd, an arm of Temasek, sold shares of the telecom tower company, worth Rs 660 crore, through the open market.

Stock ended the day at Rs 399, higher by 2.54 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 435 during the trade.

Godrej Consumer

Shares of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd surged over 5 per cent today after the Reserve Bank said foreign investors can buy up to 40 per cent of the paid-up capital in GCPL under the portfolio investment scheme (PIS).

Stock ended the day at Rs 1335, higher by 2.26 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 1360 during the trade.

Punj Lloyd

Shares of Punj Lloyd climbed on winning Haldia Refinery contract from Indian Oil Corporation.

Stock ended the day at Rs 25.70, higher by 6.20 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 26.30 during the trade.
