Cipla

Cipla, a global pharmaceutical company announced that its UK arm, Cipla EU has entered into definitive agreements to acquire two US-based companies.

Stock ended the day at Rs 649, lower by 1.13 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 679 and low of Rs 645 during the trade.

ONGC 

Government owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has acquired a 15 per cent stake in Russia's second- largest oil field from Rosneft for about $1.35 billion, reports have stated.

Stock ended the day at Rs 225, lower by 1.68 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 233 and low of Rs 221 during the trade.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals informed that company has received ANDA approval for Voriconazole Tablets, 50 mg and 200 mg.
Stock ended the day at Rs 1028, lower by 3.63 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 1088 and low of Rs 1001 during the trade.

Ambuja Cement

Genesis Asset Managers, UK-based investment management firm has sold 2.01 per cent stake in Ambuja Cement by selling 3.07 crore shares for over Rs 646 crore in open market, reports PTI.

Stock ended the day at Rs 211, lower by 3.11 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 221 and low of Rs 209 during the trade.

Suzlon

Wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon Energy's board has sought shareholders' approval to raise up to Rs 5,000 crore through the issue of securities, reports PTI.

Stock ended the day at Rs 20.90, lower by 5.23 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 22 and low of Rs 20.70 during the trade.
