The Sensex ended the day higher by 246 points, while the Nifty closed higher by 82 points. On the global front, markets across Asia also saw buying interest with benchmark indices in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia all ending the day higher.

Meanwhile, European counters such as FTSE 100, CAC 40 and DAX all were trading in green.

Amtek Auto

Shares of the Amtek Auto gained more than 18 per cent on Monday after the company said that it is considering to sell some minority stake in some overseas business.

Stock ended the day at Rs 52.80, higher by 13.06 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 57.90 during the trade.

Kesoram

Shares in Kesoram jumped sharply after the company sold its tyre division to JK Tyres.

Stock ended the day at Rs 103, higher by 1.07 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 116 during the trade.

L&T Finance

L&T Finance jumped after reports that Bain Capital will acquire a stake in the company.

Stock ended the day at Rs 66.90, higher by 4.37 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 67.90 during the trade.

Just Dial

Just Dial has launched its latest Android App on the Google Play Store for users. The Company has also submitted its new iOS App to Apple App Store and is expected to go live shortly. 

Stock ended the day at Rs 923, higher by 13.06 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 938 during the trade.

Rolta India

Rolta announced today that it has received additional 13 million dollar contract for Engineering Information Asset Solution it has designed, developed and deployed for one of the world's largest petrochemical complexes.

Stock ended the day at Rs 101.30, higher by 3.37 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 103.70 during the trade.
