Indian Markets Closed For Bakri Eidh; Asia Trades Mixed
Indian markets including stock, forex and money markets are closed on account of Bakri Eidh. In Asia markets were trading mixed with the Japanese Nikkei trading higher, while the Shanghai Composite and the Hang Sang lost ground.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended lower. Janet Yellen, US Fed Chair Person, said that an interest rate hike later this year would be appropriate, though it would depend on economic data.
Indian markets would now open on Sept 28 eagerly awaiting the Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy on Sept 29, in which the country's central bank is widely expected to cut interest rates.
