The 30-share benchmark index ended the day lower by 58.09 points or by -0.21 per cent at 27306.83, while the NSE Nifty ends at 8261.65 down by 13.40 points or by -0.16 per cent. 

On the global front, Asian peers ended the day on a mixed note. While, European indices were also trading i negative with CAC, DAX and FTSE in red.

Nestle

Shares in Nestle continued to rally for the third straight trading session, thus, jumping nearly 8 per cent in three trading sessions. 

The stock ended the day at Rs 6510, higher by 0.52 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 6648 during the trade.

Oriental Bank of Commerce

The bank said that it will raise Rs 1,000 crore through an issue of tier II bonds on private placement basis.

The stock ended the day at Rs 6143.85, lower by 0.38 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 148 during the trade.

Deep Industries

Shares of Deep Industries rose nearly 6 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after foreign fund house Swiss Finance Corporation (Mauritius) Ltd has bought stake in the company from the open market.

The stock ended the day at Rs 200.80, higher by 3.56 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 207.70 during the trade.

SKS Microfinance

SKS Microfinance posted a 37.2 percent increase in its net profit at Rs 77.86 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The stock ended the day at Rs 439, lower by 2.09 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 272 during the trade.

Hindustan Zinc

The Company has posted a net profit of 4.6 per cent at Rs. 2285 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs. 2183 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014. 

The stock ended the day at Rs 159, higher by 0.82 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 163 during the trade.
