The 30-share benchmark index ended the trade at 27253.44  down by 108.52 points or by -0.40 per cent, while the NSE Nifty ends at 8227.8232.90 by 27.65 points or by -0.33 per cent.  

On the global front, Asian peers ended the day on a mixed note. While, European counters were also red with all CAC, DAX and FTSE in negative terrain.

Eros

Eros company recovered after a 45% slump in the last few days. The shares of the parent company have been falling on the NYSE after Wells Fargo downgraded it to 'market perform', raising questions about the New York Stock Exchange-listed company's revenue from UAE business.

The stock ended the day at Rs 369, higher by 4.26 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 381 during the trade.

HDFC

Shares in HDFC slumped 3 per cent after investors remained disappointed with the company's numbers. 

The stock ended the day at Rs 1276, lower by 2.75 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday low of Rs 1272 during the trade.

Nestle India

The company said that it has resumed manufacturing of MAGGI Noodles at three of our plants, at Nanjangud (Karnataka), Moga (Punjab) and Bicholim (Goa).

The stock ended the day at Rs 6350, higher by 0.08 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 6420 during the trade.

Maruti Suzuki India

Country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India today posted a 42.1 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 1,225.56 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, reports PTI.

The stock ended the day at Rs 4494, higher by 2.44 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 4519 during the trade.

DEN Networks

Shares of DEN Networks rose on Tuesday after the Reserve Bank of India has approved hike in FII investment limit.

The stock ended the day at Rs 118.05, higher by 1.90 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 125 during the trade.
