Bharat Heavy Electricals

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) gained on Friday after the reports of commissioning of first supercritical thermal unit in Karnataka.

The stock ended the day at Rs 107, higher by 4.17 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday at Rs 107 during the trade.

Vijaya bank

Vijaya Bank said that received approval from Board of Directors of the Bank to raise Rs 226 crore from allotment of equity shares to insurance major Life Insurance Corporation of India ( LIC) on preferential basis.

The stock ended the day at Rs 33.70, higher by 2.12 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday at Rs 34 during the trade.

Minda Industries

Minda Industries shares soared after the said that it has acquired Spain-based Rinder Group's global automotive lighting business for 20 million euros (over Rs 145 crore).

The stock ended the day at Rs 981, higher by 16.34 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday and 52 week high at Rs 1010 during the trade.

HMT

Shares of HMT rose sharply as the government is eyeing revival of HMT Machine Tools, reports PTI.

The stock ended the day at Rs 48, higher by 14.56 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday at Rs 49.70 during the trade.
