Indian equity benchmarks ended the trade in the negative zone. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade at 26765.65, lower by 47.13  points, while the NSE Nifty was at 8203.70, down by 16.20 points.

On Globally, Asian peers ended the day on a mixed note, while European stocks were trading marginally in green ahead of the UK's referendum on European Union (EU) membership.

Sharon Bio Medicine rose to hit 20 percent upper circuit on Wednesday after the company said that it has decided to introduce more profitable products.

The stock ended the day at Rs 11.62, higher by 20 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 11.62 during the trade.

Tata Coffee

Shares of Tata Coffee rallied after the reports of rise in coffee prices further hitting 13 month highs.

Thomas Cook

Thomas Cook   shares rallied after its subsidiary Quess Corp announced Rs 400 crore initial public offer today.

The stock ended the day at Rs 105.50, higher by 7.43 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 109 during the trade.

JSPL

Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) today said it will seek shareholders nod to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore through securities. 

The stock ended the day at Rs 65.60, lower by 1.43 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 67 and low of Rs 65.05 during the trade.

Bharat Financial

Bharat Financial Inclusion (formerly known as 'SKS Microfinance Limited') said that it has completed its first securitization transaction in FY 17 of Rs 213.57 Crore.

The stock ended the day at Rs 688, lower by 1.49 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 704 and low of Rs 683 during the trade.
