Stocks That Were In News On June 27, 2016

The key domestic benchmark indices continued to remain choppy during most of the trade  and ended the trade flat. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade at 26402.96, marginally higher by 5.25 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 8094.70, down by 6.10 points.

On the global front, Asian peers ended the day mixed on fallout of the Brexit vote. Meanwhile, European counters were trading in red.

L & T

Shares of the L&T rose after the company said that it has won orders worths Rs 2,415 for the month of June 2016.
Shares of the company ended the trade at Rs1466 higher by2.320 per cent on BSE. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 1469 during the trade.

Aban Offshore

Shares of Aban Offshore rallied after its arm has got order from ONGC for the deployment of the Drillship Aban Abraham for 2 years.

Shares of the company ended the trade at Rs206.20, higher by 3.46 per cent on BSE. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 208 during the trade.

HDFC

HDFC said that it will raise Rs 1,035 crore through issuance of debentures on a private placement basis to augment its long-term capital resources.

Shares of the company ended the trade at Rs1218, lower by 0.42 per cent on BSE. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 1229 during the trade.

Parag Milk Foods

Share prices of  Parag Milk Foods rose after the company reported fourth quarter numbers.

Shares of the company ended the trade at Rs260, higher by 0.42 per cent on BSE. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 269 during the trade.

Vijaya Bank

Vijaya Bank said that it has received shareholders' approval to raise Rs 900 crore by issuing equity shares.
Shares of the company ended the trade at Rs 38.05 higher by 6.59 per cent on BSE. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 38.90 during the trade.
