Infosys Invests $4 Million In Cloudyn
Infosys on Wednesday announced that it has made an investment of US$4 million in Cloudyn, a company that provides Saas Solutions for the management and optimization of hybrid, multi cloud deployments.
Cloudyn enables enterprises to manage and optimise their hybrid, multi-cloud deployments. The solution provides visibility into usage, performance and cost, coupled with actionable recommendations for confident cloud growth, the company said in the BSE filing.
In December 2015, Infosys had made an investment of USD 4 million in CloudEndure, a startup that provides Cloud Migration and Cloud-based Disaster Recovery (DR) software.
Infosys will have a minority holding in Cloudyn and expects the transaction to be completed by August 15, 2016. The investment is said to be part of Cloudyn's Series B funding round.
Cloudyn was incorporated on June 1, 2011 with presence in the United States.
Shares of Infosys were seen trading at Rs 1079, lower by 0.49 on BSE at 11.30 am IST. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 1090 and low of Rs 1076 during trade.
