PC Jeweller

Shares of PC Jeweller rose after the company reported that its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016.

PC Jeweller shares ended the day at Rs 421, higher by 2.97 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 423 and low of Rs 408 during trade.

Tata Motors

Shares of Tata Motors surged after reporting strong sales growth trajectory in US by the luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

Tata Motors shares ended the day at Rs 516, higher by 3.21 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high of Rs 519.30.

Vedanta

Vedanta gained after metal and mining firm said that company's iron ore business at Goa has been re-issued import and transit permits on 3 August 2016.

Shares of Vedanta ended the day at Rs 169, higher by 4.49 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 170 and low of Rs 163 during trade.

NTPC

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) raised $300 million (Rs 2,000 crores) with a 7.48 per cent annual yield with the launch of its 'Green Masala Bond' on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) on Thursday.

Shares of NTPC ended the day at Rs 161.60, higher by 1.73 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high of Rs 162.20 during trade.

Thomas Cook

Shares of Thomas Cook (India) soared after travel company reported a strong growth of 56 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 62 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.

Thomas Cook shares ended the day at Rs 5199.25, higher by 1.19 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 208 and low of Rs 197 during trade.
