State Bank of India

Shares in State Bank of India surged after the bank reported a sharp drop in slippages and asset quality dropped only marginally.

Shares in SBI ended the trade at Rs 243, higher by 7.34 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day day high of Rs 247.70 during trade.

Aditya Birla Nuvo

Shares of Aditya Birla Nuva (ABNL) and Grasim Industries slipped after the announcement of merger of ABNL into Grasim and the Subsequent Demerger & Listing of the Financial Services Business.

Shares of ABNL ended trade at Rs 1286, lower by 17.82 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 1180 during trade.

DHFL

DHFL said that board will meet on August 17 to consider fund raising via issuing debt in India or abroad.

Shares of DHFL ended trade at Rs 265, higher by 2.57 per cent on BSE. It touched intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs 268 during trade.

Jindal Stainless

Shares of steel company dropped after reporting net loss of Rs 65 crore versus loss Rs 138 crore loss (YoY) in first quarter.

Shares of Jindal Steel ended trade at Rs 25.65, lower by 0.85.87 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 824.80 an high of Rs 28.30 during trade.

Alkem Laboratories

Shares of Alkem Laboratories rose during intra-day after the pharma company announced successful inspection by the US regulator.

Shares of Alkem Laboratories ended trade at Rs 15561, lower by 1.77 per cent on BSE. It touched intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs 1626 during trade.
