Den Networks Zooms Nearly 9% As Goldman Sachs Buys Stake

Shares of Den Networks, India's largest multi-system operators (MSOs), surged nearly 9 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after its board approved allotment of 1.58 crore preferential shares to two affiliates of Goldman Sachs at Rs 90 apiece.

Boosted by the development, shares of company rose as much as 8.62 per cent in intra-day to trade at Rs 85.00 apiece on Bombay Stock Exchange.

In a similar fashion, stocks of company advanced 4.73 per cent to Rs 82.00 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 28,750.24, down 22.89 points, or 0.08 per cent at 10:30 hours.
