Markets are trading with gains on hopes that Hillary Clinton would be the next US President.

Markets were trading higher on hopes that Hillary Clinton would be the next US Presidential candidate after the FBI cleared her of any criminal wrongdoing in using her private email server. The Sensex was up and so was the Nifty. Here are a few stocks that gained upto 15% in trade today.

This company reported a strong set of results, following which its share price surged by a huge 15 per cent in trade. The stock was last trading at Rs 114 on the NSE.

Genesys is an advanced mapping, survey and geospatial services firm. The firm claims to have a blend of understanding the emerging consumer applications around mapping technology as well as has capability on the enterprise side to offer solutions revolving state of art remote sensing, LIDAR, aerial survey and Photogrammetry solutions. It has one of the largest LIDAR acquisition and processing capabilities in the world.

This was another stock that surged in trade after a good set of results. Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) shares were last trading at Rs 508 on the NSE, a surge of 14 per cent in today's trade. The company is into the manufacture of a range of auto ancillary products.
The company produces world-class pistons, piston rings, sintered parts and cylinder liners covering a wide range of applications including two/three-wheelers, cars, SUVs, tractors, light commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, stationary engines and high output locomotive diesel engines.

Seshasayee Paper and Boards

Seshasayee Paper and Boards

Paper stocks have been on a roll recently on the back of improved performance. Shares in Seshasayee also rallied after the company reported a good set of quarterly numbers. The stock was last trading at Rs 786 on the NSE, after hitting a new 52-week high of Rs 822. The company which has been producing paper since 1960, had a total production of 182,634 tonnes in 2015-16.

Precision Wires India

Shares in Precision Wires jumped 10 per cent at Rs 120, on the NSE. Unlike the other companies mentioned above, one could not ascertain the reasons for the jump in the share price.

Precision Wires India was set up in 1989 for the manufacture of Enamelled Copper Winding Wires. It was promoted by erstwhile Atlas Wires Limited.

Shares in Asahi Songwon Colors was up 8 per cent in trade on the back of heavy volumes. Here again, it was difficult to ascertain the reasons for the jump in the share price. The stock was last seen trading at Rs 260 on the NSE. This was also a new 52-week high for the company. The stock has rallied from levels of Rs 108 in Feb to the current levels.

Asahi Songwon Colors Ltd. is in the business of manufacturing pigments. Pigments are basically colourants, adding colour to everything around us, namely ink, paints, plastics, textiles, rubber etc.

Maan Aluminium Limited hit the upper end of the circuit filter at Rs 86.70. There were only buyers in the counter at these levels. This was also a new 52-week high for the stock.

Maan Aluminium was the first Aluminium Extrusion Plants to be commissioned in Central India. The Company has three extrusions presses with capacities of 950, 1200 and 1450 hydraulic tonnes of container sizes of 5", 6" and 7" inches.

Websol Energy System jumped 8 per cent to Rs 43.75 on the NSE. There was buying accompanied by huge volumes in the counter.

Designed with an aim to use the solar energy to its maximum, the Websol modules are used across sectors like Solar PV power plants, remote communication and rural electrification.

Shares in SIL Investments surged 8.75 per cent to Rs 109 on the BSE. There was no intimation given to the exchanges on any news item.
