Gold Prices Gain As Dollar Weakens

Gold prices rose as the dollar was weak against a basket of currencies.

Gold prices saw marginal gains of 0.56 per cent in the international markets, pushing prices of gold slightly higher in India. Gold for 22 karats rose to $1223 an ounce, continuing on the upside that we have seen in the last few weeks. This is gold's second straight week of gains.

Gold Prices Gain As Dollar Weakens
Spot gold was last seen trading at $1222.5 an ounce, as against the closing price of $1221 an ounce. Those who have been looking to buy into the precious metal, maybe a little disappointed as prices are not falling.

In India gold prices have moved in a range of Rs 27,700 to Rs 28,300 per 10 grams. Check gold rates in Indian cities here
