We have listed herewith the cheapest health insurance plans for various age groups. But, cheapest does not mean the best. Investors need to go into the details before they decide.
Age group of 20-25
Coverage from National Insurance works out to the cheapest, if you are looking at Rs 1 lakh of health insurance coverage. For Rs 2 lakhs Max Bupa works out economical, while for Rs 5 lakh coverage Religare Care is the best in terms of pricing
Age group of 26-30
For the above age group New India Assurance's health insurance premium is the cheapest at around Rs 1,461, followed by Bharti Axa and Max Bupa for Rs 2 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs respectively.
Age group 31-35
Coverage from New India Assurance works out to the cheapest, if you are looking at Rs 1 lakh of health insurance coverage. For Rs 2 lakhs Bharti Axa works out economical, while for Rs 5 lakh coverage Religare Care is the best in terms of pricing
Age group of 36-40
For the above age group New India Assurance's health insurance premium is the cheapest at around Rs 1,747, followed by Apollo Munich and Religare Care for Rs 2 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs respectively.
Age group 41-46
Coverage from United India Assurance works out to the cheapest, if you are looking at Rs 1 lakh of health insurance coverage. For Rs 2 Royal Sundaram works out economical, while for Rs 5 lakh coverage Religare Care is the best in terms of pricing
