KTDFC Fixed Deposit

This is a government of Kerala backed institution, which makes the deposits very safe. A one, two and three year deposit gives an interest rate of 10 per cent for non senior citizens. For senior citizens the amount goes to as much as 10.25 per cent. This is far better rate as compared to rates that are being offered by the banking sector in India.

Mahindra Finance Fixed Deposit

A cumulative three year deposit of Mahindra Finance could give you a yield of as much as 10.13 per cent for a 36 month period. On the other hand a 24 month deposit could give you a yield of 9.68 per cent. The company's deposits are FAAA rated giving them a high level of safety vis a vis other deposits.

Dewan Housing Ashray Fixed Deposit

Dewan Housing is also offering an interest rate of 9.50 per cent on a one year deposit, while the same goes to 9.75 per cent and 9.75 per cent on a two and three year deposit.

There are many other company deposits, but at the moment we are focusing on the ones that are relatively safe, given that these are very risky instruments. Most of these deposits offer an additional rate of 0.25 per cent to Senior Citizens when compared to regular investors. It;s important to reiterate once again that company deposits unlike bank deposits are not the safest instruments. However, it is also important to remember that their returns are superior. The above company deposits are very safe.
