The price of 24 karat gold in Bangalore decreased by Rs 172 per gram to Rs 14,417 per gram today, as per Goodreturns data at 11:30 am on Tuesday. The rate of 22 karat gold in Bangalore fell by Rs 155 per gram to Rs 13,215 per gram. Likewise, the rate of 18 karat gold in Bangalore fell by Rs 126 per gram today.
Bangalore Silver Rate Today
The price of silver in Bangalore followed the trend and saw marginal decline on Tuesday. Silver price today in Bangalore fell to Rs 235 per gram, as per GR data at 11:30 am on Tuesday. Which means that per kilogram silver in Bangalore became cheaper by Rs 2,35,000 per kilogram.
International Gold Rate Today
The international gold price today saw marginal decline to $4050 per ounce on Tuesday. The bearish trend in the gold market came as investors navigated the growing expectations of interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve. The US Fed meet is scheduled to start on Tuesday, JUly 28.
"We believe uncertainties over US-Iran peace deal, US Fed rate dilemma, stronger dollar and higher yields may keep gold prices in current range forming the base for the investors to accumulate gold as a long term investment. The increased probabilities for US FED rate hike may keep some pressure on gold for short term with higher yields," noted Tata Mutual Fund in its gold price outlook report.
