The orders were received in the ordinary course of business and the firm didn't provide any breakup of the contracts or execution timelines. The latest order win came days after AMS bagged the status of Prime Development Agency (PMA) by the Indian Air Force for the Indigenous Precision Range Extension Kit (IPREK) programme under the Make-II category of the Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) 2020.

"We wish to inform you that, in the ordinary course of its business, Company has been awarded orders worth INR 2133.91 Millions from DRDO, Defence PSUs, and Private Industries," stated the firm in its BSE filing.

Apollo Micro Systems Limited is now empanelled with the Indian Air Force for the Indigenous Precision Range Extension Kit (IPREK) programme.

This development would mark its entry into India's precision guided munition (PGM) segment. It is a sub-category of one of India's most progressive defence procurement pathways under DAP-2020.

Under the programme, private defence players are invited to invest in the design and development of advanced military systems at their own cost.

"For Apollo Micro Systems, this empanelment is more than a programme win. It is the Indian Air Force's formal endorsement of AMS as the company capable of designing, developing, and delivering a world-class precision-guided weapon system entirely from Indian soil," stated the company in its press release.
