Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tendered his resignation on Saturday, July 25, amid the ongoing Cockroach Janta Party-led protest on NEET exam paper leaks. His resignation came after CJP leaders gave a 24 to 48 hour deadline to sack Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, following Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh.
"...To ensure that anti-national elements are not benefitted by the situation at Jantar Mantar and across the country, that the nation remains united, students in India do not get tangled in legal complexities and focus on their studies and their career, I have tendered my resignation to the Prime Minister..," read a letter shared by Pradhan on X.
Fee days ago activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his indefinite hunger strike after the government assured him that his demands would be met.He announced the end of his fast after Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh met him at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram around midnight on Thursday and conveyed the government's assurances.
