Gold rates today dropped sharply across major cities on July 24, 2026, due to a surge in dollar and crude oil prices. At India's top jewelers, gold price is below Rs 13,300 in 1 gram of 22 carat, under Rs 14,500 in 24 carat, and below Rs 10,900 in 18 carat.
Precious metals globally witnessed a deep selling pressure, which, as per analysts at Kotak Neo, is due to a stronger US dollar and rising Treasury yields, which triggered broad-based profit booking driven by renewed geopolitical uncertainty after speculation that the White House could continue military action against Iran, supporting the dollar alongside a surge in oil prices that pushed the US 10-year Treasury yield to an 18-month high.
"Additional pressure came from stronger-than-expected US labour market data, with initial jobless claims falling to 187K from 209K, reinforcing expectations that the Federal Reserve will keep rates higher for longer. CME FedWatch now indicates an 82% and over 90% probability of a September and December rate hike respectively," analysts said.

22 carat gold price slipped to Rs 13,275 per 1 gram, while stood at Rs 106,200 per 8 grams, at Rs 132,750 per 10 grams and at Rs 1,327,500 per 100 grams.
Furthermore, 24 carat gold price stood at Rs 14,482 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,44,820 per 10 grams. Also, 18 carat gold rate is at Rs 10,861 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,08,610 per 10 grams.
IBJA Gold Rates Today
At IBJA, the 999 purity gold rate is at Rs 14,276 per 1 gram, while the 995 purity and 916 purity gold prices stood at Rs 14,219 per 1 gram and Rs 13,077 per 1 gram respectively. Also, the 750 purity gold rate stood at Rs 10,707 and the 585 purity gold is at Rs 8,351 per 1 gram.
Kalyan Jewellers Gold Rates Today
At Kalyan stores, 22 carat gold price stood at Rs 13,400 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,34,000 per 10 grams.
Malabar Gold Rates Today
Furthermore, at Malaabr, 22 carat gold price stood at Rs 13,230 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,32,300 per 10 grams. Also, 24 carat gold is available at Rs 14,433 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,44,330 per 10 grams.
Joyalukkas Gold Rates Today
At Joyalukkas stores, 1 gram and 10 grams gold price stood at RS 13,230 and Rs 1,32,300 in 22 carat. These rates are applicable in states like Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
