Hindustan Zinc Q1 Result Review
The zinc mining giant outperformed the industry expectations over strong NSR and lower costs. Hindustan Zinc's growth was driven by favourable commodity prices, higher by-product realisation, and a stronger dollar, highlighted Motilal Oswal in its report.
Favourable metal price, better grades, and realisations helped the firm maintain its strong performance during the quarter under review. "HZ continues to report strong earnings, primarily driven by favorable metal pricing and better grades. The company continues to focus on increasing production output with tighter cost-control measures, which could lead to margin sustenance," stated Motilal Oswal in its report.
The company's expansion plans would help in doubling existing capacity and enhancing long-term earnings visibility.
