FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd announced its first quarter earnings report, in which the company posted a 3% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,631 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 2,732 crore in the year-ago period.

On a QoQ basis, HUL's profit declined 10.7% from Rs. 2,992 crore in Q4FY26.

The company's Revenue for Q1FY27 rose 10.3% YoY to Rs. 17,149 crore as compared to ₹15,552 crore in the same quarter last year and jumped 6% QoQ from Rs. 6,172 crore in Q4FY26

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation aka EBITDA for the quarter jumped moderately by 8% YoY and was reported at Rs. 3,947 crore.

Meanwhile, the EBITDA margin dropped about 23%, around 40 bps YoY.

Post the announcement of the results this morning, selling pressure was seen in the stock as HUL shares fell sharply by more than 4% due to disappointing results.

At around 11:14 am, HUL Shares were trading at Rs. 2,077 a piece on the NSE down by 4.47% or 97 points. So far in 2026 the stock has fallen more than 10% and around 15% in the last 12 months
