The market is about to welcome another large healthcare issue this week. Manipal Health Enterprises Limited, part of the Manipal Group founded by T.M.A. Pai, is preparing to open its initial public offering for public bidding in two days.

The Manipal Health Enterprises IPO will be available for subscription from July 29 to July 31, 2026. The issue is a 100% book-built offer worth up to Rs. 9,275 crore.

As for the business, Manipal Health Enterprises currently operates a huge network of multi-specialty hospitals and diagnostic centers along with small clinics across India. And if we look at the financials, the company's revenue grew by 26% in FY26, though profit after tax declined by 15% over the same period.

Manipal Health Enterprise IPO Issue Details

The issue is a mix of both fresh shares and shares offered for sale, comprising 13.56 crore & 2.16 crore shares, respectively.
As per the schedule, the bidding window for the Manipal Health Enterprises IPO opens on Jul 29th and will shut on Jul 31st.

Kotak Mahindra Capital, Axis Capital, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities, Jefferies India, and J.P. Morgan India are the book-running lead managers for the issue, with Kfin Technologies serving as registrar. The allotment is expected to be finalized on August 3, with listing tentatively scheduled for August 5 on both the BSE and NSE.

The company has set an issue price band at Rs. 560 to Rs. 590 per share. The lot size for an application is 25 shares, so the minimum amount of investment that is required by an individual or retail investor is Rs. 14,750 based on the upper price of Rs. 590.

In the grey market, the IPO is gaining strong growth slowly and has been in demand. As per data from the Investorgain website, the Manipal Health Enterprises IPO's last GMP is Rs. 25 as of July 27th.

Considering the current grey market premium, the Manipal Health Enterprises IPO is extended to list at Rs. 615 per share, 4.12% higher than the issue price.
