Q1 Result Update: Mold-Tek Packaging shares closed lower on Tuesday, after the packaging company announced its first quarter result for the financial year 2026-27. The company's revenue from operations increased by 24.9% on an annual basis to Rs 300 crore.
Mold-Tek Packaging stock closed 4.6% lower at Rs 659.85 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,192.94 crore on Tuesday. The stock hit an intraday low mark of Rs 644.35 per share and an intraday high mark of Rs 699.95 per share.
Mold-Tek Packaging Q1 Result
The company's profit after tax (PAT) surged by 14.2% to Rs 35.57 crore in the first quarter of financial year 2026-27 against Rs 22.4 crore in the same period year ago. Mold-Tek's net sales increased by 26.32% on a year-on-year basis. The jump was driven by healthy demand across all business segments.
EBITDA Growth
The company's EBITDA surged by 17.31% which was supported by enhanced operational efficiency and effective cost management. Sales volume also surged by 5.82% on an annual basis during the quarter under review.
Segment Wise Volume Growth
The company's pharma packs posted a strong 38.75% sales volume growth, whereas, its food & FMCG packet grew by 26.2% on a yearly basis. Paints pack segment grew by 10.82%, however there was a decline in demand in the lubricant segment.
"There is a humongous opportunity in Pharma Packaging including diagnostics and we have plans to enter into these high margin areas including dosage pens. We also examining ways to enter Electronics and Semi-conductor packaging soon to use our deep knowledge in Mold making and Robotics," stated J Rana Pratap, Sr. Vice President-Marketing and in-charge of Pharma Business division.
Mold-Tek Packaging Share Price Trend
The stock closed lower on Tuesday.The stock hit its 52-week high mark of Rs 890 per share on July 30, 2025. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 453.80 per share on March 30, 2026. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 12.19%. Its share price value has declined around 4.34% in month and around 15.43% in three months.
