Tata Steel Share Price Outlook: Tata Steel's India business is expected to continue its strong momentum, driven by strong prices and muted costs in the coming quarters. Additionally, the strong domestic demand would support volume growth ahead, as per a Motilal Oswal report released on Monday, August 3.
The steel major reported a 12% year-on-year increase in its net consolidated profit to Rs 2,318 crore in the June quarter of financial year 2026-27. Its net revenue surged by Rs 14% annually during the period.
Tata Steel Share Price Outlook
Strong NSR in India and in the overseas business, offsetting the negative impact of muted volume, helped Tata Steel post a decent operational performance in the June quarter. The Europe EBITDA continues to hover near its breakeven due to operational challenges and muted demand, highlighted Motilal Oswal in its report.
Despite some challenges in the overseas business, its India business is expected to continue its momentum driven by strong prices and muted costs. The strong domestic demand would support volumes ahead.
"There are near-term uncertainties related to price volatility and emission challenges in Europe, the long-term outlook remains strong," cautioned the brokerage in its report.
