As of now, the service is only available in Bengaluru. Any citizen can order for HP Navya and 5 Kg mini cylinders.

Do You Need LPG Connection To Order From InstaMart?

You do not need LPG connection to buy HP Navya cylinders or 5Kg cylinders from Instamart. The plan is to offer these shorter compact cooking gas cylinders to a wider set of customers such as working professionals, students, immigrants, renters and small households. It is an on-demand services method.

Hence, Swiggy and HPCL have stated that customers with existing domestic LPG connections are not required to buy the HP Navya cylinders.

How Are HP Gas Cylinders Delivered From Instamart?

All the customer has to do is visit the Instamart portal and select either the 10-kg composite LPG cylinder or the 5-kg metal cylinder option. Add them to the cart and go forward to make online payment. You can also do cash on delivery.

Do You Need Delivery Authentication Code For HP Gas Cylinders Delivery From Instamart?

As of now, there are clarity on this. Since the West Asia war, the government has made it compulsory to share a Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) during the time of LPG delivery to the agent delivering. DAC is called a one-time password (OTP) which is sent to the customer's registered mobile number. If there are no OTPs, there will be no deliveries. The reason behind this rule is to ensure that genuine customers are receiving their LPGs and also to tackle black marketing.

There is a likelihood that you may receive an OTP from Instamart on their portal or on the registered mobile number. Generally, all quick e-commerce companies assign OTPs on specific high-value products, including electronic appliances or mobile phones. So a similar pattern could be seen in HP cylinders delivery. After making the first purchase, you are not required to make new purchases. All you can do is a refill order by giving back the empty cylinder.

It needs to be noted that the HP Gas cylinders will be delivered by trained personnel from authorized LPG distributors of HPCL network. They are trained in handling, safety, and regulatory protocols.
