The Nasdaq 100 slid roughly 0.3% in futures trade after the index had already dropped 1.6% on Thursday.
In the same context, Netflix shares fell more than 8% in extended trading after the streaming giant forecast a second consecutive quarter of slowing sales growth.

Asian markets, including Japan's Nikkei and Hong Kong's Hang Seng, fell 3.82% & 0.7% respectively.

Crude oil prices are the major catalyst for Dalal Street. Brent crude has held above $85 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate near $80, as the ongoing US-Iran conflict and fears of disruption in the Strait of Hormuz in causing that volatility in the energy markets.
