EPFO Office App: The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) members are likely to face inconvenience while using the EPFO Office application on Wednesday, August 5. The EPFO e-office application is likely to remain temporarily unavailable for a few hours today due to maintenance and upgradation of services.
The periodic maintenance, according to EPFO, will help boost the platform's efficiency, performance and overall service delivery.
EPFO Office App Unavailability Time
The e-office application will not be available on Wednesday between 6 pm and 9:30 pm. During this period, the EPFO app will carry out upgradation of several key modules of the platform, including eFile Version 7.4.4-3, Portal Version 8.2.2, MIS Version 7.3.0 and MDM Version 7.3-1.
EPFO App Maintenance Impact
The temporary maintenance window will have limited impact, though users will plan to access EPFO services during the scheduled hours. EPFO users can face brief interruptions or delayed responses.
During the maintenance period, EPFO's internal e-Office application services may face disruption. The organisation has advised members and all stakeholders to be prepared for the scheduled maintenance and plan their tasks accordingly.
The recent EPFO app upgrade has come days after the EPFO portal underwent a massive restructuring and scheduled maintenance work. The EPFO portal services were affected for nearly a week due to the services upgrade.
EPFO Services on UMANG App
While EPFO services might get impacted on Wednesday during the scheduled maintenance time, some services will be available on the UMANG application, the official app for availing EPF services. These services on the application are being restored in phased to minimise disruption for day-to-day users.
How To Check EPF Balance?
-Visit the official EPFO Member Passbook portal. Navigate the website and log in.
-You are required to log in using your Universal Account Number (UAN), password and captcha.
-Proceed and you will receive an OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
-Click on 'View Passbook' to check your latest balance. You can also check whether the financial year 2025-26 interest has been credited or not.
How To Check EPFO Passbook Status Via UMANG App?
-Log in from your credential and then link your UAN.-You can view your EPF balance, contributions, transactions and updated passbook directly through the application.
