Devotees from various parts of the world and the country gather at these temples to partake in the festivities.

Krishna Janmashtami, also known as Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival dedicated to celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna. As per the Panchanga or Hindu calendar, this festival takes place on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the month of Shravana. In the western Gregorian calendar, this typically falls in the months of August or September. In the year 2024, Gokulashtami is scheduled for August 26th. It is recognized as a holiday in numerous private and public organizations.
