Bank Holidays in Manipur in February

In the month of February, banks will remain closed for around six days in Manipur. Apart from regional holidays, Manipur has regional holidays. Thus, if banks in other states are open on a certain date it is not necessary that banks in Manipur will also remain open on that day. During these bank holidays in Manipur, the banks are closed. As per an understanding between the Indian Banks' Association and All India Bank Employees Association, all public sector banks in Manipur and other states of India are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

In Manipur, bank holidays do not mean people will not have access to net banking facilities. Even when banks are closed people can conduct financial transactions via online mode.

All the banks including SBI, Federal Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Punjab National Bank will remain closed on the bank holidays.
