In February, the government of Rajasthan has declared bank holidays on February 11, on account of the second week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday; February 18 on account of Maha Shivaratri and on February 25, on account of the fourth week of Saturday as Bank Holiday.

Maha Shivaratri: It is Hindu festival. It is celebrated in honour of Lord Shiva. The ancient Sthaneshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated in the Kurukshetra district of Haryana. It was here that the Pandavas along with Krishna prayed to Lord Shiva and received his blessings for victory in the battle of Mahabharata. It is also believed that Lord Shiva was first worshipped in the form of a lingam in Sthaneshwar Mahadev Temple.
Jaipur Photography Festival will be held in Rajasthan in the month of February. Considering the wide range of scenic sights in Rajasthan, the number of photographers is in great number. Hence, the Photography Festival of Rajasthan gives all photography enthusiasts visiting Rajasthan a platform where they can showcase their work. This festival is largely celebrated at diverse public venues in Jaipur.
The Braj festival in Rajasthan is held every year for two days in the Shukla Paksha of the Phalgun month, a few days before Holi. This festival is dedicated to Lord Krishna who is believed to have spent a considerable amount of time in a region called Braj in Rajasthan. The highlight of this festival is the Raslila dance performed with great zest and unity. The entire town is painted, and no one is spared from being splashed with colours.
The festival is celebrated with great pomp and ceremony in Deeg, Kaman, and Bharatpur in the Bharatpur District.
The Jaipur Photography Festival and Braj festival are not considered as bank holidays in Rajasthan.
