In February, Uttar Pradesh government has announced holidays on the occasion of Second Saturday as Bank Holiday on February 13; February 26, on account of Hazrat Ali Jayanti and Fourth Saturday as Bank Holiday on February 27.

All the banks in February will remain closed on the above mentioned days.
The banks will not perform the usual functioning on these days. All the banks including UCO Bank, DCB Bank, City Union Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank will remain closed on the bank holidays.
Hajarat Ali's Birthday: The government of Uttar Pradesh has declared a holiday on the occasion of Hajrat Ali's birth anniversary. Hajarat Ali was the cousin and only son-in-law of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. He is regarded as the actual successor of prophet Muhammad.
Taj Festival: Taj Festival is an annual festival which is held in Agra. The festival reveals the rich cultural heritage and it displays the finest specimens of Indian craftsmanship. Fork artists along with drum beaters will perform during this festival. One can also witness elaborate decoration made for the camel and elephant which will participate in the lavish procession. Folk dances including sapera, lavani and nautanki will be performed by artists to enthral the crowd. The food festival will be organized during the Taj festival where one gets to taste the most exotic cuisines from different parts of the country.
