Banks will be closed on January 26 due to celebration of Republic Day across India as its a national holiday. Besides, banks will also be shut on January 13th and 27th on account of second and fourth Saturday of the month. While, January of 7th, January 14th, January 21st, and January 28th will also be holiday for banks in this region due these days being Sundays. Generally, banks are closed either national or state level under three categories such as Negotiable Instruments Act, Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts
