During these three days, there will be no banking transactions at the branch level across all the banks in Karnataka. All the banks including Axis Bank, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Bandhan Bank will remain open during all the days except the official bank holidays in Tripura of two Saturdays and four Sundays during July 2024.

Muharram/ Eid-al-Adha: Eid is a Muslim festival. The festival is celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm. On this day, goats or cattle or sheep will be sacrificed to commemorate the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim. Muslims will dress up in new clothes and offer special Eid prayers. Prayers will be held in mosques in the city. The historic Mecca Masjid, the Military ground in Mehdipatnam, and Hockey Ground in Masab Tank will witness a huge gathering of people.
