In July, the Uttar Pradesh government have announced three holidays in the month on the following days. July 13th, the second week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday; July 17, on account of Muharram; and on July 27th, the fourth week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday.

During these three days, there will be no banking transactions at the branch level across all the banks in Karnataka. All the banks including Axis Bank, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Bandhan Bank will remain closed during public and bank holidays in Uttar Pradesh in July 2024.
Muharram/ Eid-al-Adha: Eid is a Muslim festival. The festival is celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm. On this day, goats or cattle or sheep will be sacrificed to commemorate the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim. Muslims will dress up in new clothes and offer special Eid prayers. Prayers will be held in mosques in the city. The historic Mecca Masjid, the Military ground in Mehdipatnam, and Hockey Ground in Masab Tank will witness a huge gathering of people.
