Good Friday: Good Friday is a Christian holiday in the month of March and Christians on this day commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus. It is also known as Holy Friday or Great Friday in India and the declaration of this day as a holiday resembles the strong ideology for equal respect to all religions the country carries since decades. It is an important festival for the Christians in the state as it resembles a solemn day for remembrance and reflection. People usually undertake church services, fasting, donations, charities and much more to reflect the sacrifices made by Jesus for humans. People can opt for Good Friday to visit some of the beautiful places in Tamil Nadu as it comes before a weekend and working class individuals having a holiday on the following Saturday can ensure they make the most of the weekend.
