Banks will be closed on May 23rd due to the occasion of Buddha Purnima. Further, there will be holidays on May 11th and 25th on account of second and fourth Saturday of the month. While, May of 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th will also be holiday for banks in this region due these days being Sundays. Generally, banks are closed either national or state level under three categories such as Negotiable Instruments Act, Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
