Narad Jayanti: Sage Narad is one of the well-known fictitious characters in Hindu philosophy. He is considered to be the Manasa Putra of Lord Brahma. He is one of the Prajapati and also one of the seven important rishis. The day is the birth anniversary of Devrishi Narad, who used to travel throughout the world communicating information continuously. Narad Jayanti is commemorated on the day after the full moon day in the Vaishakh month which falls either in April or May.
