Bank Holidays in Madhya Pradesh during May

Apart from gazetted holidays as mentioned in the RBI Holiday calendar, there are several regional holidays when banks remain closed in several states. Bank holidays are not the same everywhere and differ from one state to another. For example, if May 23 is a bank holiday for Madhya Pradesh it does not mean banks in other states will also remain closed on this date.

All the banks in Madhya Pradesh will remain closed on the above-mentioned days. The banks will not perform the usual functioning on these days. All the banks including Axis Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank, City Union Bank, and Indian Bank will remain closed on the bank holidays.

May 11- Saturday

May 12 - Sunday

May 19- Sunday

May 25- Saturday

May 26- Sunday

Buddha Purnima: It is the most sacred day in the Buddhist calendar. It is one of the most important festivals of the Buddhist community. The festival is celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. Buddha Purnima falls on the full moon day in the month of Vaisakh.
