Bank Holidays in Haryana during November

All the banks in Haryana will remain closed on the above-mentioned days. The banks will not perform the usual functioning on these days. All the banks including Union Bank, Bank of Baroda, Punjab & Sind Bank and YES Bank will remain closed on the bank holidays.

Guru Nanak Jayanti: It is a Sikh festival. The day commemorates the birth of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak. Guru Nanak was the founder of Sikhism. It is believed that he was born on Vaisakhi Day during Karthi Maas. The day is celebrated with great religious fervour and gaiety.Thousands of Sikh devotees throng gurudwaras to offer prayer on the occasion of Gurpurab. All the gurdwaras will be decorated with flowers and lit with lights. Hymns will be rendered at the holy shrine to mark the occasion.
