Banks will be closed on October 2nd due to the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, and on October 13th due to Vijaya Dashami. Further, there will be holidays on October 12th and 26th on account of second and fourth Saturday of the month. While, October of 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th will also be holiday for banks in this region due these days being Sundays. Generally, banks are closed either national or state level under three categories such as Negotiable Instruments Act, Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
