Bank Holidays in Jharkhand during September

All the banks in Jharkhand will remain closed on the above-mentioned days. The banks will not perform the usual functioning these days. All the banks including Axis Bank, Citi Bank, Punjab National Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank will remain closed on the bank holidays.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami: It is a Hindu festival. It falls in the month of Shravana Maas. It is celebrated to mark the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. He was born to King Vasudev and Devaki on the eighth day of Krishna Paksha. As Krishna was born at midnight, people observe fast since morning, stay awake all night, and offer bhajans and prayer. For Hindus, Krishna is a hero, a protector, a leader, a guide, and a teacher – who gave lessons of life to all the individuals living on this earth in the form of the great epic Bhagavad Gita.
