In September, the Rajasthan government announced holidays on the following days. September 7, on account of Janmashtami; September 9, the second week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday; September 23, the fourth week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday; September 28 on account of Ramdev Jayanti and Maulud Nabi.

All the banks in Rajasthan will remain closed on the above-mentioned days. The banks will not perform the usual functioning on these days. All the banks including IDBI Bank, Punjab National Bank, Corporation Bank, and Bank of Maharashtra will remain closed on the bank holidays.
Janmashtami: It is a Hindu festival. It is celebrated during the Hindu month of Shravan. The festival is celebrated with tremendous joy and fervour in Jaipur, in Govind Devji Temple. On this day the idols of Radha and Lord Krishna will be magnificently adorned and placed in a specially decorated swing inside the temple premises. Though the celebrations start early in the morning, the actual amusement happens at the end, at the strike of 12 at midnight, as Lord Krishna took birth at the time of midnight. On this day Chappanbhog Aarti will be performed wherein 56 kinds of different foods will be offered to Lord and after the aarti, the same will be distributed among devotees as Prasad. Boondi laddoos and Mohanthal are the most popular sweets that will be offered to the god on this day.
