The improvement in technology has bought in an array of changes in the field of the banking system. One such change is the introduction of credit cards. A credit card is a small metal card also referred to as plastic money issued by a bank or a financial institution.
This credit card allows its users to make purchases by borrowing money up to a pre-set limit. So, the credit limit is the maximum amount up to which the user can borrow using the card.
The main intention of introducing the credit card was to reduce the usage of cash while conducting transactions and also to allow the holder to purchase goods/ services now and make payments at a later point to the borrower.
In case of losing a credit card or if it has been stolen, the holder of the credit card can cancel the said credit card by following any one of the methods.
