YEAR EVENTS
1978 - The Company was incorporated on 18th September, as a private
limited company and was converted into a public limited company
on 22nd September 1986.

- It was promoted by N.K. Jagasia, K.B. Kakatkar and P.S. Chopde.
The Company offers multi-disciplinary design and construction
services in mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation
field. It also offer turnkey services in petroleum storage and
handling systems, plant utilities diesel powerhouse, energy
conservation, waste heat recovery systems etc.

- The Company's objects is Business of work contracts in a number
of descriptions viz. mechanical, electrical civil etc. and
manufacturer of finned tubes and heat exchangers.

- The company's EPC division offers LPG bottling plants on a
turnkey basis. It also fabricates LPG storage spherical Tanks.
To achieve synergy in operations, the company embarked on a
backward integration programme to manufacture LPG cylinder
filling, testing & ancillary equipments.

1993 - 18,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each issued and allotted
to promoters. Of these, 10,000 shares and 1,31,796 shares were
offered on bonus shares in 1985 and 1990 respectively. During
1992, the company issued through a prospectus 18,00,000 No. of
equity shares of Rs.10 each at par of which 90,000 shares were
issued to employees on preferential basis (only 60,100 shares
taken up). Balance 17,10,000 shares along with 29,900 shares
not taken up by employees were issued to the public. Additional
2,70,000 shares were issued to retain oversubscription.

1994 - The LPG cylinder filling, testing and other ancillary equipments
manufacturing facilities were set up.

- The Company signed a MOU with M/s. CBI constructors Ltd. (CBI)
UK to jointly undertake major projects in India. The tie up
envisages joint approach on exclusive basis to large projects in
India and enhance the company's prospects in India and abroad.

- The Company also entered into an agreement with M/s. Baker Tank
Co., USA for representing its products and services related to
Aluminium Geodesic domes, internal floating roof etc. Another
agreement was entered into with M/s. Verwater(Netherlands) for
projects involving relocation and repairs of tanks including
foundation work.

- During May, the company issued 2,15,000 shares and 2,15,000
shares 1,85,000 at a prem. of Rs.55 per share on private
placement basis to MirgaMorgan Stanley Fund and Indian Mutual
Fund respectively and Advantage Advisor Inc. India fund Inc.
respectively. During September-October, 44,85,000 Rights
shares were (prem. Rs.15; prop. 1:1), 2,60,000 No. of equity
shares issued to employees on private placement basis during
November.

1995 - The Manufacturing division entered the wind energy sector by
manufacturing wind mill towers for Enercon (India) Ltd.

2002 -Artson Engineering Ltd has informed that the following change has been made in composition of the Board of Directors of the Company:

1. Mr P S Chopde has resigned as Executive Chairman of the Company. He continues as Director on the Board of Directors of the Company. 2. Mr C V Kadvekar has resigned as Managing Director of the Company. He has been unanimously appointed as Wholetime Director for a term of five years w e f March 01, 2002. 3. Mr N K Jagasia has been unanimously appointed as Chairman and M D of the Company for a term of five years w e f March 01, 2002.

2009

-Artson Engineering has received an Order from HPCL - Mittal Energy Ltd for construction of Intermediate and Product Storage Tanks work for Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project at Bhatinda, Punjab. The estimated contact value of the order is Rs 191.70 Crore.

2010

-The Company has received an Order from Overseas AST Co. LLC, Dubai for construction of fuel storage facilities at 3 (three) locations on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi at (a) Al Hamra Military Airport (b) Safran Air Base and (c) Al Dhafra Air Base of UAE Armed Forces.

-Artson Engineering has received an Order from Cairn Energy India PTY Ltd. (CAIRN) worth Rs. 25 Crore

-Artson Engineering has received an Order from Petrofac International Limited, Sharjah, UAE

2011

-Registered Office of the Company has been shifted From Rang Udyan, Building No. 1, 2nd Floor, Sitladevi Temple Road, Mahim (West), Mumbai - 400 001 To Rang Udyan, Building No. 2, 1st Floor, Sitladevi Temple Road, Mahim (West), Mumbai - 400 016.

-Artson Engineering was awarded a contract Cairn Energy India Pty Limited worth Rs. 32 Crore.

-Artson Engineering has received an EPC contract awarded, by Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Ltd.

-Artson Engineering has received a Work Order from Tata Steel Growth Shop, a division of Tata Steel Limited worth Rs. 20.65 Crore

2012

-Artson Engineering Receives Work Order of Rs. 19.90 Crore

-Artson Engineering's Nashik Manufacturing Unit has received an Order from Tata Projects Limited worth Rs. 12.47 Crore.

-The Company has received a contract entailing Engineering, Procurement and Construction of 21 (Twenty One) tanks, Piping, Equipment erection and Painting for Liquid Tank Terminal establishment at Haldia. The estimated contract price is Rs. 23.81 Crore.

-Artson Engineering has received a Letter of Intent for a project entailing Piping Shop Fabrication Works to be executed in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The estimated contract price is Rs. 9.12 Crore.

2013

-Artson Engineering Ltd commenced commercial activities at the manufacturing facility at Umred.

- Artson Engineering Ltd received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for fabrication, assembly, shop testing, inspection, painting, supply and transportation of various building structures estimated contract price is Rs. 56.37 Crore.

- Artson Engineering Ltd received has received a Work Order from Tata Steel Growth Shop, a division of Tata Steel Limited. The Company's scope of works includes structural fabrication works at Gamharia (near Jamshedpur) and the estimated work order value is 42.06 Crore.

-Artson Engineering Ltd Nashik Manufacturing Unit has received an Order entailing design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, testing and commissioning of Buffer Vessels for a project at Kalinganagar, Odisha. The estimated contract price is Rs. 20.26 Crore.

-The Registered Office of the Company has been shifted from Rang Udyan, Building No. 2, 1st Floor, Sitladevi Temple Road, Mahim (West), Mumbai - 400016 to 11th Floor, Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Technology Street, Powai, Mumbai - 400076.

2014

-Artson Engineering Ltd received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Cairn India Limited.

-Artson Engineering Ltd received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for Fabrication and Painting of chemical storage tanks at Sharjah, UAE. estimated contract price is AED 6.2 Million (approx. Rs. 10.70 Crore).

2016

-Company has received a Letter of Award from Mumbai Aviation Fuel Farm Facility Pvt. Ltd., (MAFFFPL) at a total price of INR 24.43 Crores for Design, Fabrication, Erection and Testing of 5 Nos. Fixed Cone Roof Storage Tanks.

-Artson Engineering bags Rs 108 cr contract from Odisha.

2017
- Artson Engineering gets order worth Rs 5.19 cr.
-AEL bags Rs 5.20 cr order from Tata Projects.

2019
-Artson Engineering bags order of Rs. 25.79 crores from BHEL.
