Fixed Deposit via Online in Dena Bank

Individuals can open a term deposit account in Dena Bank either by walking into the nearest branch of Dena Bank of through online mode by logging into the web portal of Dena Bank. The existing customers who already are account holders of the bank can open the fixed deposits via online.

  • Cumulative Plan - Samrudhi Deposit Scheme and
  • Non Cumulative Plan – Fixed Deposit Scheme can be opened through online mode.

Customers are advised to print or save a cyber receipt generated post opening the bank deposit for the purpose of maintaining records. The customer has to contact the account maintaining branch in person along with the printed receipt for premature closure of the deposit.

Nomination Facility

Most of the fixed deposits provide nomination facilities to the depositor who can nominate anyone of his choice as the beneficiary of the fixed deposit scheme in the event of the death of the investor before the end of the tenure of the fixed deposit scheme. The nominated individual is referred to as ‘Nominee’. Applicants have to fill in a separate nomination form as prescribed under the Banking Companies (Nomination Rules) of 1985, to avail the nomination benefits.

The depositor can change the nominee at any point of time during the tenure of the fixed deposit scheme by informing the bank’s authorities.
