Sugar remains quiet on some support
On May 28, 2011, the prices of sugar ended on a quiet note in Delhi since the prices traded in a tight range due to the alternate small sessions of trading and settled at the previous levels.

The quotation per quintal are sugar ready M-30 which stood at Rs 2,920-3,020 and S-30 which stood at Rs 2,890-3,010 while mill delivery M-30 stood at Rs 2,710-2,900 and S-30 stood at Rs 2,680-2,880.

Moreover, the sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty) are Kinonni which stood at Rs 2,870, Asmoli at Rs 2,860, Mawana at Rs 2,825, Titabi at Rs 2,820, Thanabhavan at Rs 2,710, Budhana at Rs 2715 and Dorala stood at Rs 2,810.

The fresh quota that was released by the government for the next month also influenced the prices of the sugar.
