CNCEC bags shipping terminal contract in Jubail from Sabic JV

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) has announced that China National Chemical Engineering Corporation (CNCEC) has bagged the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts for a new storage, handling and shipping terminal at King Fahd Industrial Port in Jubail from Sabic's JV partner, Jubail Chemicals Storage and Services Company (JCSSC).

The total investment is estimated to be USD 400 million. The project will allow for the uninterrupted growth of the petrochemical and downstream industries in Saudi Arabia.


Once commissioned early 2015, the storage capacity of the terminal will be approximately 250,000 cubic meters.
