NDTV hits 52-week high on robust Q4; scrip surges nearly 20%
Shares of New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV), an Indian commercial broadcasting television network, shot up nearly 20 per cent, hitting 52-week high, in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on reporting turnaround in fourth quarter earnings.

The company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 27.8 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013, against a net loss of Rs 41.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Buoyed by earnings number, shares of company gained as much as 19.96 per cent and touched 52-week high to trade at Rs 90.15 a piece on the BSE.

In a similar fashion, shares of the company were quoting at Rs 136.20 a piece, up 6.49 per cent on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 19,992.70, up 53.66 points or 0.27 per cent at 9:45 hours.
